AREAS WE SERVE

Tax Help Across Wake County and Nearby Communities

EJP Tax & Advisory works with individuals, families, and professionals in Fuquay-Varina and across Wake County and surrounding counties, including Raleigh, Cary, Apex, Holly Springs, Morrisville, and Angier. The services are the same wherever you live: individual and business tax returns, year-round tax advisory, and business consulting and tax planning.

Find your town.

Each page covers local details that can affect the records you bring, such as which county sends your property tax bill.

Some towns cross county lines.

The Town of Cary reaches into Wake, Chatham, and Durham counties. Raleigh and Morrisville appear on both Wake County's municipal list and Durham County's tax rate table. Angier is a Harnett County municipality whose jurisdiction extends into Wake County.

Read which county sends your property tax bill before you gather property tax records for your return.

Some local paperwork runs on its own calendar.

County business personal property listing generally happens in January and is separate from your income tax return. Our article on business property listing in January explains the difference.

The North Carolina Department of Revenue has service centers in Raleigh and Durham, and the IRS runs Taxpayer Assistance Centers by appointment. The guide to state and IRS tax offices lists where they are and how appointments work.

The same three services, wherever you live.

Start with individual and business tax returns, year-round tax advisory, or business consulting and tax planning. Your circumstances, not your town, shape the scope of the work.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Questions you may have.

Which areas does EJP Tax & Advisory serve?

The practice works with clients in Fuquay-Varina and across Wake County and surrounding counties, including Raleigh, Cary, Apex, Holly Springs, Morrisville, and Angier.

Does my town change the services available?

No. Individual and business tax returns, tax advisory, and business consulting and tax planning are available throughout the service area. Your circumstances determine the scope of the work.

Is my county property tax bill part of my income tax return?

Not directly. The county bills property tax, but if you itemize deductions, the IRS allows certain state and local taxes, including real property taxes, subject to limitations. Bring the bill so it can be reviewed.
